Withdrawing in humiliation

You know, if I was McCain, I don’t think I would have gone there. His discussion of the withdrawal from Somalia as a “humiliation” was puzzling, as was his insistence that he knows how to win wars. Not to put too fine a point on it, but the one thing it’s been demonstrated that he knows how to do really well in the military is crash fighter jets and survive the accidents. When you think US military humiliation, you think the way we left Saigon. Besides, McCain didn’t win his war; he rather conspicuously lost his part of it, as he’s all too eager to tell us. (Maybe he’s thinking of his granddaddy, Admiral McCain, who actually was some beans, militarily speaking.) And finally, didn’t he propose cutting off funding for our troops stationed in Somalia to force a quicker withdrawal? Why yes, yes he did!

JohnnyPOW knows full well that Somalia was B41’s “inauguration prank” just like the “w” keys being removed from WH keyboards–even though it appears that was fiction.
