That’s very cool. And comprehensive. Trade routes in the 10th century actually stretched from Europe through Afghanistan and India to China (Sind, Hind, and Chind, in contemporary accounts). There was one China-India-Central Asia-Middle East or Arabian Sea-North Africa-Iberia route, and another British Isles-Scandinavia-Russia-Black Sea route (that was the Vikings). They met up in Constantinople and Antioch. Someone’s coins had come a loong way.
