Bridgett:
Political bloviating drives me nuts, so I rarely listen to anything that is political in nature.
I did listen to John Lewis speak about Dr. King’s speech and then the various bits of that speech that were played. I was moved, deeply. I am saddened when I think of the depths of fear that drive our nation’s leaders to demonize men like King and ultimately, to cause their deaths by fostering a climate of intolerance that suits their political agendas. I no longer believe in much if any of the Cath-O-Lick mumbo jumbo that I grew up with. But, if there is a hell I want to see Jedgar and the rest of his ilk chin deep in excrement when I arrive there.
